Danese Milano Quattordici – La Rana is a silkscreen print designed by Enzo Mari for Danese Milano, part of the celebrated Nature Series, a project dedicated to transforming natural subjects into universal graphic symbols. Produced using a 3-colour screen printing technique on 200 g/m² paper, the work measures 1120 × 1120 mm and is supplied complete with plastic hanging rods.

Through a process of progressive reduction, Mari simplified the image of the frog into a clear and immediately recognisable silhouette, eliminating superfluous details to emphasise its essential form. The result is a powerful visual icon in which colour and form work together to communicate meaning with extraordinary clarity. This approach reflects Mari's design philosophy: reducing complexity to its most essential elements to achieve an accessible and timeless visual language.
