Danese Milano I Volti, Cinque silkscreen printing

I Volti, Cinque is a limited edition silkscreen print by Mimmo Paladino for Danese Milano, created in 2007 as part of the Giocosa Mente series. The project was conceived as a tribute to the centenary of Bruno Munari's birth, drawing inspiration from the eponymous work of art in moving images. In this composition, Paladino constructs a stylised face using minimal graphic elements and expressive lines, combining drawing and collage in a result that is at once essential and playful.

The work reflects the spirit of experimentation, imagination and creativity that defined Munari's artistic research, transforming a simple face into a graphic sign of remarkable expressive power. The composition continues the dialogue between contemporary art and the educational and playful dimension that has long characterised Danese Milano's visual culture, making it an ideal piece to enrich a living room or representative space with a collectible work of undeniable cultural value. The silkscreen print is available in two editions: the first, on Hahnemühle 300 g/m² paper, is a four-colour print run of 200 pieces; the second, signed by the artist, combines silkscreen printing and collage on Arches 640 g/m² paper in an exclusive run of just 50 pieces. An autographed version is also available upon request, at an additional cost. The dimensions of the work are 700 × 500 mm.
