Danese Milano Guastella 3D printed vase

The Danese Milano Guastalla is a 3D-printed clay vase born from a project inspired by the famous "La Balena" nursery school in Guastalla, an iconic building with soft, dynamic lines. The shape of the vase echoes the continuous curves of the original structure, obtained by translating and rotating its cross-section vertically to recreate its architectural movement in an object that is sculptural and deeply contemporary. It is crafted using the LDM (Liquid Deposition Modelling) technique, an experimental process that builds volume layer by layer using dense and fluid materials. Once solidified and fired, the object is finished with a matte black crystalline surface that adds depth to the colour, protects the material and makes it suitable for contact with food.

The Guastalla vase by Danese Milano brings together formal research, technological innovation and ceramic tradition in a decorative piece of strong character, capable of enriching residential spaces with a distinctive contemporary design accent. It is available in two sizes: the Small version, with a base of 90 mm, top diameter of 200 mm and height of 230 mm, and the Large version, with a base of 115 mm, top diameter of 150 mm and height of 300 mm.
