FontanaArte, New Bilia from 1932

- Categories : Lighting

From the new collaboration between Diffusione Luce and Fontana Arte, born the desire to undertake a journey together, starting to propose a new brand on much requested by our customers.
As the first product we have chosen '' Bilia '' a design object of the past, nowadays with a renewed technology and new colors, but without neglecting the details of the time ..

A sphere on the tip of a cone, a simple geometric composition, looking for an apparently impossible balance, an unstable game that the mastery of the italian designer and architect Gio Ponti materialized in a lamp characterized by an undeniable charm, the fascination of instability and geometric rigor. All this is BILIA, an iconic lamp with a conical body in brushed nickel-plated metal and a glass sphere, born in 1932 but still current today, in which we find it renewed in its new variant with the brass cone and LED light, and in the small-sized version BILIA Mini, available in ten incredible colors.

A lamp of yesteryear but extremely contemporary, for the materials, the colors, the energy efficiency strategies, the reproposal of purity and perfect symmetry of two geometric shapes, all generating a unique design.

The geometric essentiality of the lines enhances the diffused light of this table lamp, creating a magical, suspended atmosphere, just as the sphere is suspended on the cone.

A lamp, now produced by FontanaArte, which reaches balance even in the smart use of elegant but discreet materials: satin-finished blown glass for the diffuser, brushed nickel metal or brand new brass for the frame.

The integrated dimmer with sliding regulator allows to manage light intensity of the LED source, characterized by a warm white light and high color rendering.

BILIA is for those who don't want to have to choose between simplicity, elegance and quality. For those who are always looking for the perfect balance, from every point of view.
