Astep Model 566 Historical LED Table Lamp

Astep Model 566 Historical LED Table Lamp is an icon of Italian design created by Gino Sarfatti in 1956 and reinterpreted by Astep with contemporary LED technology. The lamp embodies Sarfatti's reductive design process — one that made him a true master of lighting design — resulting in a balanced, elemental form in which the aluminium body tube appears suspended in an implicit forward movement, visually lightening around the distinctive Cornalux bulb. The base, originally cast iron, is now crafted from an aluminium, magnesium and copper alloy, offering superior corrosion resistance, full recyclability and a lower environmental impact during production.

The Model 566 is a timeless table lamp that brings character and refinement to a living room, a bedroom or an elegant workspace. The light source is an 8 W B22 LED bulb (Cornalux), included in the package, delivering warm white light at 2700 K with a luminous flux of 700 lm — recreating the intimate, enveloping atmosphere of the original lamp through its semi-silvered glass.
