Astep Model 548 Limited Edition led table lamp

The Model 548 table lamp was designed in 1951; today, Astep offers a new edition in yellow, presented at Euroluce 2023. This lamp is a study on the balance and reflection of light through a screen, a recurring theme in Gino Sarfatti's work. It provides both reflected and diffused light, thanks to the adjustable spotlight directed towards a reflective screen. The lamp manages to create a highly sophisticated lighting effect and an essential part of the illusion. The aluminum spotlight is painted white mounted on a dark burnished brass tubular stem, while a brass bar at the base acts as a counterweight in the beautiful game of balance.

Original incandescent bulb has been replaced by an LED source and an optical dimmer. Model 548 is perfect as a reading light in the bedroom or on the desk, and in all environments that require a classic, even modern and colorful touch.
