Astep Model 548 led table lamp

Astep Model 548 is a LED table lamp designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1951 and re-edited by Astep in 2013. A genuine study in balance and light reflection, this lamp is defined by its large methacrylate diffuser — available in orange, azure or grey — which produces a highly sophisticated lighting effect combining both reflected and diffused emission. The adjustable spotlight in white painted aluminium is mounted on a tubular stem in polished or burnished brass, while a brass bar at the base acts as a counterweight, making every detail an integral part of a visual play of rare elegance. The integrated 11 W LED source delivers warm white light at 2700 K, and the bulb is included.

Ideal as a reading lamp or a distinctive decorative piece, the Model 548 fits naturally into the bedroom, the office, and any space seeking a touch of contemporary classicism. The touch dimmer function allows effortless adjustment of light intensity, seamlessly integrating modern technology into the original design. With a height and diameter of 500 mm, the lamp is rated IP20 for indoor use and belongs to insulation class III. Four finish combinations are available: dark burnished brass stem with orange diffuser, dark burnished brass stem with grey diffuser, polished brass stem with azure diffuser, and polished brass stem with grey diffuser. Interchangeable plugs compatible with the main international standards (UK, USA, EU, China, Australia) are included, ensuring seamless use worldwide.
