Tolomeo Paralume Outdoor Suspension is the LED outdoor lamp by Artemide, an outdoor interpretation of the iconic Tolomeo family, designed for both public and private exterior environments. The structure is crafted in aluminium, while the diffuser is covered in Paola Lenti's Thuia fabric, a synthetic material with the appearance of natural jute that ensures weather resistance and washability. This version features the larger size, with a lampshade diameter of 522 mm, proportioned to suit the perceptive scale of wide open spaces. The shade is available in a taupe woven fabric finish, lending the lamp a refined and understated character that integrates seamlessly into contemporary outdoor settings.

The Tolomeo Paralume Outdoor Suspension is perfectly suited to illuminate outdoor spaces such as terraces, loggias, covered patios, and exterior areas of hotels, restaurants and private residences. The lamp carries an IP65 rating, ensuring complete protection against dust and water jets, and belongs to Insulation Class I. The light source is a 20 W LED with a colour temperature of 3000 K — warm white — and a CRI 80 colour rendering index, which reproduces the colours of the surroundings in a natural and enveloping way. The bulb is included in the package. Light emission is both diffused and direct: the Thuia fabric spreads light softly outward, while the internal opal diffuser element — visible even without the shade — maintains IP protection and evokes the aesthetic of traditional street lamps. The lamp is not dimmable and operates on a universal input voltage of 100–240 V. The suspension is height adjustable up to a maximum of 2000 mm, with a 142 mm diameter canopy included.
