Artemide Tolomeo LED lamp structure

Artemide Tolomeo LED lamp structure is the iconic core of the celebrated Tolomeo family by Artemide, designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina in 1987 and long established as a timeless symbol of Italian design. The structure features cantilevered arms and base in polished aluminium, with a diffuser in matt anodised aluminium or polished aluminium, and joints crafted in polished aluminium. Balance is achieved through a spring-tensioning system that allows precise and effortless repositioning of the light beam without the use of screws. The light source is an integrated 10 W LED module, featuring 5 direct LEDs that concentrate 100% of the luminous flux into the useful hemisphere, eliminating dispersion and ensuring outstanding luminous efficiency.

Thanks to the efficiency of LED technology, an illuminance of 1250 lux on the work surface is achieved with just 10 W instead of the 100 W required by an incandescent source, delivering up to 90% energy savings. The universal input voltage of 100-240 V makes it compatible with electrical systems worldwide, while the IP20 protection rating confirms its suitability for indoor environments. With a maximum reach of 1260 mm in length, 810 mm in width and 670 mm in depth, the lamp offers a generous operational range.
