Artemide O 45 floor and wall lamp

Artemide O 45 is an outdoor floor and wall lamp designed by studio Elemental (Alejandro Aravena) for Artemide Architectural. Its essential circular form — 450 mm in diameter and 460 mm tall — is defined by a slender aluminium profile and a silicone diffuser, giving the fixture a formal lightness that allows it to blend seamlessly into any setting. When switched off, it frames nature and suggests new perspectives without disrupting the surrounding environment; when lit, it delivers a soft, diffused and non-glare light through an integrated 22W LED source.

Designed for the most demanding outdoor spaces, the O 45 carries an IP67 rating, making it fully dust-tight and protected against temporary water immersion. The 3000 K colour temperature produces a warm and enveloping glow, while the CRI 90 colour rendering index ensures accurate and natural colour reproduction. With a luminous flux of 859 lm and an efficiency of 82%, the light output is controlled and comfortable, carefully designed to respect the circadian cycles of all animal and plant species. Compatibility with light-management sensors further reduces energy waste and helps preserve the nocturnal ecosystem. Its versatile installation — on the ground, on a wall or on a ceiling — makes it ideal for gardens, terraces, entrance areas and architecturally significant environments where aesthetic coherence is essential. Available in black, with universal 100–240 V input voltage and bulb included.
