Artemide Melampo Tilting Table Lamp

Artemide Melampo is a tilting table lamp designed by Adrien Gardère for Artemide, featuring a painted zamak base and a painted aluminum stem supporting a refined silk satin diffuser. This material gives the lamp a double and surprising aesthetic quality: when switched off, the diffuser appears in grey or ecru, while when lit it transforms into a clean, luminous white — revealing an unexpected and captivating chromatic dimension.

Melampo is a versatile and characterful lamp, perfect for enhancing the living room or the bedroom with adjustable light and a refined contemporary design. The diffuser can be oriented in three distinct positions — 0°, 34° and 180° — allowing a choice between direct or indirect light emission to suit different lighting needs. The lamp includes a built-in switch and supports an input voltage of 100–240 V, making it suitable for international use. It accommodates two E26/E27 LED lamps with a maximum power of 17 W; bulbs are not included. With a total height of 580 mm, a lower lampshade diameter of 350 mm, an upper lampshade diameter of 210 mm and a base diameter of 240 mm, Melampo combines harmonious proportions and functionality in a single design object. Insulation class II and a protection rating of IP20 confirm its suitability for indoor use. Available in grey and ecru finishes.
