Artemide Melampo Mega Tilting Floor Lamp

Artemide Melampo Mega is a tilting floor lamp designed by Adrien Gardère in 2000 for Artemide, one of Italy's most iconic lighting design brands. Defined by a simple and timeless formal language, the lamp features a round base in varnished zamak, a slender aluminium stem and a generously sized silk satin shade, which gives the whole composition a discreet, understated elegance. Standing 1740 mm tall with a lower shade diameter of 570 mm, Melampo Mega is the large-format version of the Melampo family, designed to illuminate residential spaces with warmth and presence.

A slot integrated into the diffuser allows the shade to be adjusted into three distinct positions — 0°, 34° and 180° — making it possible to switch between direct and indirect light emission: downward diffused light, directional light, or upward reflected light for a soft, enveloping atmosphere. The lamp is dimmable and compatible with LED E26-E27 light sources up to 21 W (bulb not included), with a universal input voltage of 100-240 V, insulation class II and IP20 protection rating for indoor use. Available in two finishes — grey structure with grey diffuser and bronze structure with ecru shade — Melampo Mega integrates effortlessly into the living room and the bedroom, where light quality and the sculptural presence of a floor lamp truly make a difference.
