Artemide Gople RWB suspension lamp

Artemide Gople RWB is a LED suspension lamp designed by the renowned studio BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, encasing within a body of hand-blown glass crafted using an ancient Venetian technique a one-of-a-kind patented technology. Two distinct lighting systems coexist within: an indirect warm white light emission at 3000K with CRI90 colour rendering, and a direct-emission RWB (Red-White-Blue) system, patented in 2011, designed to support plant growth and optimise human well-being on an emotional, physiological and perceptual level.

Thanks to its dual functional and aesthetic nature, the Gople RWB is ideal for living spaces that incorporate indoor greenery, and suits both the living room and the kitchen, where the combination of atmospheric light and plant support becomes a refined design statement. The RWB system calibrates its emissions based on PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) values: the vegetative phase of plants is supported by blue radiation with wavelengths of 425–450 nm, while the flowering phase benefits from red radiation between 575 and 625 nm. The diffused indirect white light can be controlled independently, enabling fully personalised management of the two light sources.

The LED source has an absorbed power of 16.5 W, with a luminous flux of 547 lm and an efficacy of 34.19 lm/W. The lamp is dimmable and compatible with DALI, DMX and Artemide APP control systems, offering maximum flexibility in brightness management. Its dimensions are compact and refined: diameter 21 cm, height 42 cm, with a base diameter of 19 cm and a maximum ceiling height of 172 cm. The protection rating is IP20 and the insulation class is Class I. The structure combines aluminium and blown glass in a white colour finish that integrates effortlessly into any contemporary living environment.
