Artemide Funivia Vector Pendant suspension lamp

Artemide Funivia Vector Pendant is an integrated LED suspension lamp designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua for Artemide Architectural, conceived as a component of a modular, cable-based lighting system. The metal body houses a directional LED projector available in three sizes — Vector Pendant 30, 40 and 55 — and two finishes, White or Black, with an adjustable hanging height ranging from a minimum of 500 mm to a maximum of 1200 mm.

The Funivia system draws its design logic from mountaineering: the carrying cable not only bears the weight of the light sources, but distributes energy throughout the entire installation. Each source connects to the cable via a bridge element, a snap-fit mechanism that mechanically secures the projector and draws power directly from the cable, with no need for cuts or complex junctions. The cable is supplied with clips to adjust its length as desired, enabling horizontal, vertical or oblique compositions in space. Lighting control is handled via Push or the Artemide App, which allows dimming of an individual source or all sources on the cable simultaneously. Protection is rated IP20 for indoor use, with an input voltage of 220–240 V, insulation class III and a CRI 90 colour rendering index that reproduces colours with exceptional accuracy at a warm 3000 K colour temperature. Colour temperatures of 2700 K or 4000 K and alternative beam angles are available on request. Please note that a dedicated Starter Pack is required for the light source to operate. The Vector Pendant 30 delivers 335 lm at 7 W with a standard 16° beam (dimensions Ø 30×78×136 mm); the Vector Pendant 40 provides 584 lm at 10 W with a 21° aperture (Ø 40×104.5×136 mm); the Vector Pendant 55, the most powerful option, reaches 1721 lm at 23 W with a 22° beam (Ø 55×131.5×136 mm).
