A table or wall lamp, with geometrical metal screens creating light and dark, screened and clear, all enclosed in a square frame: it is both a light object and a lamp. A lighting sculpture with a strong styling connotation to the 60s. Structure in white enamelled, folded and welded plate.Ability to mount LED light source E14 (LED light source not included).
Designed and conceived by Gio Ponti in 1969, Fato appears as a luminous object with a dual function: a lamp and a showcase for objects. Enclosed in a square 35 cm side frame, metal screens define lights and shadows, creating a clever geometric composition where full and empty alternate. Representative of the 1960s style and decidedly sculptural, Fato is made of folded sheet metal and is now produced by Artemide also in the version with LED sources.
