One hundred years of history, ambassador of Italian design all over the world, the Eclisse lamp by Artemide is dressed in four new colors on the occasion of the 100th anniversary. This small and wonderful table lamp designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, won the Compasso d'Oro in 1967 and is now exhibited at the MoMA in New York and at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan. The new version of Eclisse has the same appearance as the iconic Magistretti table lamp with simple, compact and rounded shapes, inspired by miners' lanterns. The peculiarity lies in its composition: 3 "semi sphere", two of which are fixed (the base and the outer sphere) and one mobile (the inner sphere). Through a manual rotation it is possible to faithfully reproduce the effect of the natural lunar eclipse, in any environment, in fact the semi sphere rotating on its axis can graduate the light emission. Perfect for the bedroom, the living area or any other residential environment, L'Eclisse 100th Anniversary also illuminates public and contract environments with the same elegance.
