Artemide Droplet Dimmable LED Ceiling Lamp in Aluminum

Artemide Droplet is an extraordinary LED ceiling lamp designed by Ross Lovegrove for Artemide, fully embodying the visionary and organic style of its creator. Crafted entirely in aluminium — die-cast for the chrome-coloured luminous bodies and moulded and painted for the reflector — Droplet is the result of an entirely digital design process, in which every detail of the circular form is conceived to make ripples intersect concentrically. The visual outcome resembles a puddle of liquid aluminium from which three luminous bowls emerge, suspended between technology, three-dimensional physical art and a naturalistic aesthetic.

Thanks to its indirect light emission, Droplet diffuses light in a uniform and enveloping manner, acting like a dichroic liquid that gently expands throughout the space. The 3 integrated LED sources of 29 W each (87 W total absorbed power) ensure high colour fidelity with a CRI90 colour rendering index, faithfully reproducing the colours of the illuminated environment. The lamp is available in two warm light colour temperatures — 2700K or 3000K — with a luminous flux of 3031 lm and 3241 lm respectively, adapting to different usage scenarios. The push-button dimmer allows easy adjustment of light intensity to create perfectly balanced atmospheres at any time. With an input voltage of 220–240 V, protection rating IP20 and insulation class I, Droplet is designed for ceiling installation in indoor environments.
