Artemide Copernico led suspension lamp

Artemide Copernico is an extraordinary LED suspension lamp designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Paolo Dell'Elce in 2010 for Artemide. Crafted in black anodized aluminum, Copernico is born from a sculptural vision: nine concentric mobile ellipses, obtained from a single aluminum plate, support a circuit of 384 white LEDs. When closed, the fixture appears completely flat, presenting itself as a pure suspended geometric object.

The most distinctive quality of Copernico lies in its ability to transform: the ellipses rotate independently on two different axes, allowing the light emission to be directed and countless spatial configurations to be achieved, making every installation unique.
