Cadmo by Artemide is a dimmable LED floor lamp designed by Karim Rashid, an icon of contemporary design that has earned prestigious international awards including the Good Design Award, the Red Dot Award and the iF Product Design Award. The inspiration comes from a Milanese image: a man wrapped in a raincoat on a rainy day. From this vision was born the sculptural form of Cadmo, a body in painted steel with a stainless steel base cover that envelops the light source like an elegant coat, allowing light to emerge through a distinctive vertical opening.
Cadmo is designed to enhance characterful interiors, from the living room to the most refined residential spaces. The lamp integrates two independently controllable LED light sources: an indirect source of 44W (2700K, 3831 lm, CRI 90) that projects light upward with a soft and enveloping effect, and a direct GU10 source of 10W (2700K) that diffuses light along the front opening. This dual direct and indirect emission allows for precise atmospheric modulation thanks to the integrated touch dimmer, compatible with input voltages between 100 and 240 V. Bulbs are included. With a height of 1760 mm and a diameter of 320 mm, Cadmo asserts itself as a scenic and functional presence in any interior, available in white and black inside white finishes. Insulation class II and protection rating IP20 confirm its construction quality for indoor use.
