Artemide Boltons 375 table lamp

Boltons 375, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, is a table lamp that goes beyond the traditional concept of lighting to become a true design object. The project combines sophisticated patented optical research with the craftsmanship of hand-worked glass, creating a striking yet elegant visual presence. The transparent structure supports an adjustable metal disc that not only defines the lamp's appearance but also plays a key role in controlling light distribution.

The glass body incorporates a delicate air bubble created through a refined artisanal technique, making each piece unique while contributing to the optical performance of the fixture. A lens positioned at the base directs the light upwards, while the upper reflector, secured by a magnetic sphere, allows precise and dynamic light control. Boltons 375 therefore becomes a luminous sculpture, perfect for enhancing a living room, study or sophisticated contemporary interior.
