Artemide Ameluna RGB LED Suspension Lamp

Artemide Ameluna RGB is an extraordinary LED suspension lamp born from the collaboration between Artemide and Mercedes-Benz Style — a meeting between excellence in lighting and the refined aesthetic sensibility of automotive design. The name itself — a blend of Artemide, Mercedes and the moon — tells the story of a project that goes far beyond the object: the transparent methacrylate body, with a diameter of 750 mm, stands out for its sensual asymmetrical volume, capable of generating a dynamic and highly emotional visual tension.

At the heart of Ameluna lies a revolutionary optoelectronics system integrated within the transparent body: the optics are combined with an aluminium strip supporting the LEDs — a patented solution — fitted into the lower profile while leaving the purity of the form intact. The main source is a 45W RGBW LED with diffused and partially refracted emission through the transparent body, delivering a luminous flux of 4370 lm at a colour temperature of 3000K for warm, enveloping light. A 4W RGBW LED spot, suspended from the silver-grey canopy (included), adds a direct emission that projects infinite chromatic atmospheres into the space. Both sources are dimmable and fully controllable via the Artemide App over Bluetooth, enabling intuitive and personalised scene management. With a CRI90 colour rendering index, Ameluna ensures vivid and faithful colour reproduction. The suspension is height-adjustable from a minimum of 1200 mm to a maximum of 2000 mm, adapting elegantly to different architectural contexts. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for indoor use exclusively. Ameluna has been awarded the Reddot Design Award "Best of the Best" 2017, the iF Product Design Award 2017, and the Architectural SSL's Product Innovation Awards 2017.
