Artemide Alphabet of Light lowercase letters

Artemide Alphabet of Light lowercase letters is a LED wall lamp designed by BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group for Artemide Architectural, transforming each letter of the alphabet into a luminous design element. Made from technopolymers and featuring an integrated LED source, the collection brings together BIG's graphic and typographic concept with Artemide's patented optoelectronic expertise, resulting in a modular system capable of spelling words, composing messages and shaping light installations across any space.

Designed for indoor use, Alphabet of Light suits a wide range of environments: from contract spaces such as showrooms, hotels and clubs, to artistic venues like museums and galleries, through to residential settings. It is an ideal choice for those wishing to transform an office or a living room into a space of visual communication, where light becomes writing and letters become décor. Each letter is supplied with a blister pack for wall mounting; attachment with an integrated panel is available on request. The driver is not included and is available separately as an installation accessory, compatible with a maximum of 1–2 Alphabet elements. The LED source operates at a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white), with a colour rendering index of CRI 80 and direct light emission, delivering uniform and enveloping illumination along the entire outline of each letter. The system is rated IP20 for indoor use, with insulation class III and compatibility with input voltages from 100 to 240 V. Individual letters vary in size and power consumption: from the letter "i" (8W, 650×50 mm, 684 lm) to the letter "m" (34W, 650×950 mm, 2862 lm), with examples including "a" (22W, 650×650 mm, 1971 lm), "b" (26W, 950×650 mm, 2511 lm), "g" (28W, 950×650 mm, 2502 lm) and "w" (28W, 700×1100 mm, 2394 lm). Each character is available individually, allowing complete compositional freedom. Special characters are available on request. The collection also includes versions with uppercase letters and numbers.
