Artemide Alphabet of Light Linear 240 is an indoor LED suspension lamp designed by BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, the renowned architectural practice founded by Bjarke Ingels. Spanning 2400 mm in length, this linear version features a methacrylate diffuser and an aluminium structure that deliver diffused, anti-glare light at a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white) and a luminous flux of 6968 lm. The integrated 60 W LED source ensures a CRI80 colour rendering index, providing natural colours and comfortable visual perception.

Alphabet of Light Linear 240 belongs to a modular system that allows multiple elements to be freely combined, creating linear or curvilinear light geometries in ever-changing configurations. Thanks to the three available length variants within the product family, the lamp can be used as a standalone light source or integrated into more elaborate installations. The suspension height is adjustable from a minimum of 150 mm to a maximum of 1500 mm, adapting gracefully to both low and high ceilings. The Linear 240 version is available in two control configurations: dimmable Push/Dali or Push & Artemide App (compatible with iOS and Android), offering full flexibility in managing light intensity. With a protection rating of IP20 and insulation class I, it is designed exclusively for indoor use. The 236 mm diameter canopy, complete with driver and installation kit, is included.
