Ares Paola Asymmetric Ceiling or Wall Lamp Outdoor

The Ares Paola Asymmetric is a ceiling or wall lamp for outdoor use by Ares, designed to deliver a precise and controlled asymmetric light emission. The body is crafted from die-cast aluminium, EN AB-47100 alloy with low copper content, featuring a glass diffuser secured via a robotic gluing system. The double-layer coating is QUALICOAT-compliant: a first layer of epoxy powder for chemical and mechanical resistance, and a polyester powder finishing layer resistant to UV rays and weathering. Components are sandblasted in advance, then subjected to alkaline and acid washing, rinsed with demineralised water, and treated with a chemical conversion process to protect against rust, ensuring outstanding long-term durability.

With an IP65 protection rating, the Paola Asymmetric is perfectly suited for outdoor applications such as building facades, entrances, terraces and architectural exteriors requiring directional, controlled lighting. Compatible with a neon discharge light source via G24D lampholder, the fixture includes a driver and operates at 220–240 V, housing 2 light sources. Installation is via an M16 plastic cable gland suitable for cables with a diameter between 4.5 mm and 10 mm; flexible cables rated for outdoor use are recommended to ensure watertightness. The compact dimensions of 250 × 250 × 90 mm allow easy integration into any architectural setting. Compliant with EN 60598-1, insulation class I.
