Zanotta Basello coffee table

Basello is a side table by Zanotta, designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1987. It features a double-height structure with rotating shelves, with a black painted steel joint available in the canapa, amaranto, espresso and nera versions, or in talco painted steel for the talco version.

The rotating shelf mechanism is central to the design concept, allowing different configurations across the available versions. Basello suits the soggiorno as a versatile piece, offered in five colour finishes — canapa, amaranto, espresso, nera and talco — all sharing a painted surface treatment.
