Zanotta Alfa sofa

The Alfa sofa, designed by Emaf Progetti for Zanotta, is a modular and monobloc seating system defined by minimal, regular lines. The steel frame stands on feet in chromium-plated, graphite-painted or satin nickel-plated steel, available in natural or black finish, lifting the volume off the ground and giving the composition a sense of lightness. The removable cover, offered in fabric or leather, features a quilted seat cushion with a square pattern, a distinctive detail drawn from upholstery tradition.

Conceived not simply as a sofa but as a system of articulated elements, Alfa adapts to numerous configurations to meet furnishing needs in both homes and public spaces. Its sober, contemporary aesthetic, which reinterprets the modernist tradition, makes it a fitting choice for furnishing the living room with understated elegance. The polyurethane and heat-bound polyester fibre padding, combined with elastic strap suspension, ensures lasting comfort, while small cushions available in goose down or Dacron Du Pont allow the seat to be further personalised.
