Wever & Ducrè Tapis Soft modular led wall light

Tapis Soft is the modular LED wall light by Wever & Ducrè, a wall applique with an organic, sensory design sculpted from recycled PET felt — a sustainable, 100% recyclable material produced by shredding and processing recovered PET into a soft textile panel. Its shape evokes the ripples left by wind on sand, merging contemporary aesthetics and sound-absorbing function into a single decorative lighting element. The integrated 9 W LED source delivers indirect, relaxing light emission, enhanced by a CRI greater than 90 for outstanding colour rendering.

Tapis Soft is designed to enhance high-quality residential and contract interiors: it is ideal for the living room, for the office, and for venues such as bars, bistros and cafés, where acoustic comfort is as important as lighting quality. The sound-absorbing properties of PET felt reduce ambient noise, making every indoor space more comfortable and intimate. Available in three sizes — Tapis Soft 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 — and in four felt finishes: Oxide Red, Marble Grey, Limestone and White. The two available colour temperatures, 2700K and 3000K, offer natural warm white and warm light respectively, both dimmable via trailing edge/leading edge phase cutting (IGBT-TRIAC). With a luminous flux of 380 lm (2700K) or 390 lm (3000K), a universal input voltage of 100–240 V, an included driver and a protection rating of IP20, Tapis Soft can be installed as a standalone fixture or combined into modular wall compositions for striking visual impact.
