Vossloh Schwabe Ballast for HS and HI 1000 W lamps is a high-quality electromechanical ballast designed to provide stable and reliable power supply to metal halide (HI) and high-pressure sodium (HS) discharge lamps rated at 1000 W. The unit is vacuum-impregnated with polyester resin, a construction method that ensures robustness, vibration resistance and long service life. Screw terminals accepting cable cross-sections from 0.75 to 2.5 mm enable a secure and precise connection during installation.

This ballast is designed for professional and technical lighting applications that demand the highest level of reliability. It operates at an input voltage of 220–240 V, with a trigger voltage of approximately 5 kV, and is rated Protection Class I with an IP20 degree of protection.
