Vibia Knit D65 suspension lamp

Vibia Knit D65 is a large-format suspension lamp designed by Meike Harde for Vibia, reinterpreting the organic shape of the sea urchin in a refined contemporary key. The flattened or elongated spherical diffuser is covered in fire-retardant polyester fabric, ribbed through a plating technique over a polyethylene core: the darker ribs are matt, while the thin mesh between them diffuses light in an enveloping and uniform 360-degree pattern. The lower diffuser is made of methacrylate. The surface ceiling canopy is included.

With a diameter of 65 cm, this pendant is the largest version in the Knit collection and brings sculptural character to sophisticated interiors, making it an ideal choice for the living room or the bedroom where a statement lighting piece is desired. The light source consists of 6 integrated LEDs totalling 6.7 W, with a colour temperature of 2700 K warm white, a colour rendering index greater than 90 and a luminous flux of 4740 lm. The lamp is dimmable via DALI-2 or 1-10V protocol, with a power cord up to 300 cm. Available in two configurations: Model 7470 Ø65×39 cm (5.5 kg) and Model 7475 Ø65×50 cm (6 kg). Compatible with EU, USA, UK, AUS and JAP voltages (100–240 V).
