The Knit collection, created by designer Meike Harde for Vibia, consists of a series of flattened, elongated or distorted spheres that take their shape from the urchin as well as a symbol of femininity. Most of the diffuser is covered in stretch lycra, ribbed woven through the plating technique. The darker ribs are matt, while the space between each rib is covered with a thin mesh that transmits 360-degree diffused light. Easy installation and the ability to adjust the intensity of the light make the Knit collection the perfect solution for those seeking quality interior lighting with an abundant dose of charisma.
Knit Ø45 cm is the smallest version among the suspension lamps. The lamp diffuser is made of flame-retardant polyester with a polyethylene interior, while the lower diffuser is made of methacrylate. It is available in three different shape variants, all with a diameter of 45 cm. The dimming protocol can be chosen from DALI-2, Casambi or 1-10V version. The surface ceiling rose is integrated.
