Vibia Closer rechargeable floor lamp

Vibia Closer is a rechargeable floor lamp designed by Ichiro Iwasaki for Vibia, conceived from the idea of freeing the form so that the fabric alone defines the lamp's presence. The shade, made from a woven mesh of polyester and PMMA and individually handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, creates a semi-transparent textile volume that gently filters light. The integrated 6 W LED source is hidden in the upper part of the shade to avoid visual interference with its shape. All shades are finished with a black trim. The collection is available in three models with different proportions: model 1710 features a diameter of Ø68 cm and a height of 68.5 cm; model 1712 measures Ø56 cm in diameter and 77.5 cm in height; model 1714, the most slender, has a diameter of Ø49 cm and a height of 98.5 cm. All models emit warm white light at 2700 K with a luminous flux of 1440 lm and feature a push dimmer.

Thanks to its IP65 rating and integrated 20,800 mAh rechargeable battery, Closer is perfectly suited for the living room, the bedroom and outdoor settings, with no cables required. Battery life reaches up to 40 hours at 25% brightness, 20 hours at 50%, and 10 hours at 100%. Charging is done via the included contact base with a 3-metre cable; the first charge must last 14 hours. With a colour rendering index above CRI 90, Closer ensures faithful colour reproduction and outstanding light quality.
