Array is a collection of pendant lamps with impressive proportions, an exploration of wire and its potential to create light and dynamic light sculptures.
Designed by Umut Yamac, Array is composed of a series of thin technical wires stretched between two aluminum rings and features a range of conical and cylindrical silhouettes that can be combined together to form an incredible installation. The distribution of space between the strands creates volume, while the layering effect gives the illusion of movement. The lamps emit a pleasant light directed downwards and projected by an invisible source hidden inside the lower ring. At the same time the light also spreads upwards gradually, until it invades the space it occupies.
The Array 1830 and 1835 suspensions are composed of PES FR suspension wire, aluminum upper ring, brass lower ring and PC diffuser. The source and driver are integrated with light intensity adjustment with 1-10V protocol. It is available in beige, terra and green finishes and are available in two different lampshade diameter versions.
