Verpan Moon suspension lamp
Description
One of the first fixtures designed by Verner Panton in 1960 was the Moon pendant lamp, with which the design icon launched a completely new creative style. Ten white lacquered aluminum slats, stacked vertically on top of each other, form the body of this pendant; the slats, which increase in diameter from the inside out, are movable and can be individually rotated on top of each other. The charm of this lamp is found in the detail, in fact once shaped the slats completely hide the central light source, but reflect the incoming light through the interstices outward, creating an unprecedented and perfectly glare-free play of light that will completely change the atmosphere of the room.
Moon is available in 34 cm or 44.5 cm diameter versions and features Verner Panton's signature on the innermost part of the ten slats. A white rosette is included and it comes complete with a 250-cm-long suspension cord made of white fabric. The light source is a bulb with E27 (230V) - E26 (120V) bulb holder with max power 60W, not included. Vertical slat design arranged in a fan shape for individual light adjustment.
