Tridonic PCA 2x80 T5 ECO IP DALI is a dimmable electronic ballast manufactured by Tridonic, designed to drive two T5 fluorescent lamps at 80 W each, for a total managed power of 2 x 80 W. The steel housing, with its compact dimensions of 425 x 30 x 21 mm, ensures durability and straightforward installation inside luminaires and fluorescent tube fittings.

The ballast operates at an input voltage of 220–240 V, supporting an AC voltage range of 198–264 V and overvoltage protection up to 320 V AC. The operating frequency ranges from 40 to 130 kHz, ensuring silent, flicker-free performance. Thanks to its compatibility with the DALI system, the device allows continuous dimming from 1 to 100%, with lamp ignition possible from as low as 1%. Stand-by power consumption is below 0.2 W, reflecting its high energy efficiency. The unit also features a protective hot restart of 0.5 s for AC and 0.2 s for DC, safeguarding lamps from excessive thermal stress. The IP20 protection rating makes it suitable for indoor installations. With an average rated lifespan of 50,000 hours, it offers long-term reliability for professional lighting applications.
