&Tradition Wire Stool VP15

Wire VP15 by &Tradition, designed by Verner Panton, is an indoor counter stool that retains the distinctive geometric steel wire structure of the Wire series, developed from the original idea behind the 1981 Wire Stool. Measuring 44 cm in diameter and 65 cm high, VP15 is made from steel wire rod and steel plates: the wire is bent into shape and welded to create its open, sculptural structure, while the mirror-polished finish requires no additional surface treatment. An integrated footrest enhances the comfort and functionality of the seat.

The Wire Series originated from Verner Panton's experimentation with steel at a time when wood was the predominant material in furniture design. VP15 expresses this approach through an open structure that balances stability with visual lightness, reinterpreted for contemporary interiors. With its 65 cm seat height, the stool is designed to complement compatible counters and surfaces, making it a natural choice for the kitchen.
