The Topan pendant lamp, with its simple spherical silhouette, remains as captivating today as it was when it was first introduced in 1959 by Verner Panton. Made of painted aluminum with a fabric-covered cable, Topan has a simple round shape that adds a touch of joy to any space. It is ideal either alone or in a group and wherever it is placed it will cast a gorgeous glow adding a welcoming factor to any setting. For Panton the choice of colors should be "a conscious decision; colors have a meaning and a function". In homage to this master who knew the deepest meaning of color and its emotional impact, &Tradition is propelling Topan into the future with a series of modern colors.
