&Tradition Topan VP13 table lamp

&Tradition Topan VP13 is a designer table lamp originally conceived in 1959 by Verner Panton and reissued by Danish brand &Tradition in a fresh contemporary interpretation. Its iconic spherical shade is spun from a single piece of aluminium, while the cylindrical base is crafted from custom-cut extruded acrylic, with edges flame-polished to achieve a perfectly smooth, transparent finish. The shade rests freely on the base, creating an effortlessly floating visual effect just above the surface.

While Panton originally envisioned the lamp placed against a wall to bounce light into a room, this updated version allows the shade to be freely rotated and oriented in any direction, making it a refined and adaptable lighting solution for the living room, the bedroom, or any domestic setting calling for atmospheric light with a strong aesthetic identity. All Topan lamps are designed to be fully disassembled without the use of adhesives, facilitating repair and end-of-life recycling. Standing 315 mm tall with a diameter of 210 mm, the Topan VP13 accepts a LED light source with an E26-E27 fitting up to a maximum of 12W — bulb not included — and comes with a 300 cm fabric cable. The lamp carries an IP20 rating for indoor use and is compatible with input voltages from 100 to 240 V.
