&Tradition Thorvald SC100 and SC101 are the outdoor lounge chairs from the Thorvald collection, designed by Space Copenhagen for the Danish brand &Tradition. Inspired by the classical lines of neoclassical sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen and the decorative motifs of his museum, the Thorvald collection offers a contemporary reinterpretation of a timeless aesthetic. The steel structure is crafted through bending, welding, polishing, galvanizing and powder coating, ensuring strength and long-lasting durability for outdoor use. The grid-like frame creates a captivating interplay of light and shadow, contrasting the solidity of the material with the visual lightness of the silhouette. The two versions differ in the presence of armrests: the SC100, without armrests, measures 75.5 cm in height, 58.8 cm in width and 75 cm in depth, with a seat height of 39.8 cm and a weight of 7.8 kg; the SC101, with armrests, shares the same height, depth and seat height, but reaches 71.5 cm in width and weighs 9.2 kg. Both models are available in three different finishes and are not treated with biocides.
