The Moor is a collection of rugs designed by All the Way to Paris and produced by &Tradition, which are inspired by the wide heather and grass hills of ATWTP's Scandinavian countryside. The various colors of the rugs reflect the surroundings, the sun and sky of the landscape. The designers experimented with different yarns until they came up with a combination of 85% wool and 75% viscose, resulting in a depth of color and look reminiscent of an ancient hand-weaving technique found in rugs from the Middle and Far East.
The Moor AP6 rug is hand-woven, a production technique that produces a dense, soft, and highly exclusive, cloth-like expression. The exclusivity is further accentuated by the discreet sheen of the material, achieved by spinning a small amount of viscose into the wool fibers.
