'Seta', the Spanish word for mushroom, sets the tone for the diminutive, mushroom-like proportions of this quirky table lamp. But a further clue to her identity is represented by the suffix "go", which indicates that she is free from an electric cable and can literally go anywhere. To recharge it, simply connect it to a micro USB cable. Drawing inspiration from the art of Japanese lanterns, Hayón blends craftsmanship with the modern capabilities of his cordless design. Despite this integration of technology, the mechanisms remain hidden inside to keep the shape of the lamp clean and tidy. The light it produces is equally considered: the atmosphere is manipulated by a small brass button, as well as the dimmer (3 levels), which controls the diffused ambient light. Looking closer at the lampshade, you can see that it ends in a small upward curve, another small but elegant accent.
