&Tradition Rombe Add-on Bay modular shelving system

&Tradition Rombe Add-on Bay is the additional bay of the Rombe modular shelving system, designed by Industrial Facility for &Tradition. The collection takes its name from the diamond-shaped vertical supports that run parallel along the structure, bending sideways to attach to the wall. The vertical posts are crafted from extruded aluminium for structural integrity, while shelves and desk are in lacquered oak or walnut; the storage unit, also available in oak or walnut, features a reeded glass sliding door for an refined and minimal aesthetic.

The Add-on Bay version can be used independently against a wall or combined with the Full Bay to create a more elaborate composition. It is an ideal choice for furnishing a living room or an office with an expandable and adaptable system. Wall mounting requires only four fixing points, preserving the clean minimalist design, while the gap from the wall allows for neat cable management. Both the wall distance and the base feet are adjustable, making installation straightforward even on uneven floors. The system is available in four finishes: alabaster, anthracite, alabaster and oak, anthracite and walnut.

The Add-on Bay comes in three distinct models. Model IF4 includes 5 shelves for displaying books and objects, measuring 223 cm in height, 81.5 cm in width, 36 cm in depth, and weighing 27 kg. Model IF5 combines 2 shelves with an integrated desk, reaching a depth of 49 cm and weighing 19 kg, making it ideal for a compact workspace. Model IF6 pairs 3 shelves with a storage unit featuring a reeded glass sliding door, with a depth of 36 cm and a weight of 44.5 kg. All three models share the same overall dimensions of 223 cm in height and 81.5 cm in width.
