&Tradition RFH RD4 Terrace Chair

In close collaboration between &Tradition and the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation, five different designs from the iconic furniture collection for the Royal Festival Hall were reissued in 2024. The RFH collection consists of an outdoor chair, an outdoor table in two sizes, an armchair, and a lounge chair.

Made of teak, RFH Terrace outdoor chairs are durable and small in size, making them suitable for small balconies or in high-traffic areas such as hospitality settings. Wooden seat slats of different lengths give the chair ergonomic qualities and form its distinctive, organic aesthetic. Solid in its construction, it manages to maintain a light and airy feel. The black legs made of high-strength bent steel tubing are supported by a slightly raised arch that creates a low-profile arm to support the user and facilitate movement. 

To add an extra level of comfort, a custom-made cushion has been developed (see Accessories).
