&Tradition Numbra TY3 battery lamp

Numbra by &Tradition, designed by Teruhiro Yanagihara, is an indoor portable lamp that explores the relationship between light and shadow through a minimal design and essential linear structure. Measuring 25.5 cm high and 11 cm in diameter, it combines a clear-lacquered solid oak frame, tumbled and lacquered die-cast aluminium elements, a sandblasted acrylic diffuser and a steel core. The lamp features three-step dimming at 100%, 50% and 20%, while its rechargeable battery provides up to 10 hours of operation when fully charged.

Inspired by Japanese aesthetic sensibilities and the concept of penumbra, Numbra is designed to create a gentle luminous presence that enhances the interaction between light, shadows and materials. Its compact, portable format makes it easy to move between different areas of the home, from the living room to the bedroom. Its IP44 certification completes its technical characteristics. A luminous object that retains its aesthetic presence even when the light is switched off.

This lamp is for indoor use only. It can be taken outdoors, but must be kept and stored indoors.
