&Tradition Numbra TY1 suspension lamp

Numbra TY1 by &Tradition, designed by Teruhiro Yanagihara, is an indoor LED pendant lamp defined by a 122 cm linear silhouette conceived to create a refined balance between light and shadow. Its structure combines a clear-lacquered solid oak frame, tumbled and lacquered die-cast aluminium elements, a sandblasted acrylic diffuser and a stainless steel core. The 15W LED light source delivers 700 lumens at a 2400K colour temperature with CRI >90, providing warm light and high colour rendering. The pendant can be suspended horizontally or vertically and can be dimmed from 100% to 10% when installed with a compatible dimming system.

Inspired by Japanese aesthetics and the relationship between illumination and penumbra, Numbra TY1 treats light as an element that shapes atmosphere and the perception of space. Its essential design and combination of oak and aluminium create a discreet yet expressive presence, suitable for contemporary interiors such as the living room or kitchen. A light designed not simply to illuminate, but to interact with shadows, materials and architecture.
