&Tradition Guild shelf

Guild by &Tradition, designed by the Hvidt & Mølgaard studio, is a wall-mounted solid wood shelf with a distinctive organic, undulating silhouette. Its characteristic form draws inspiration from Axel Albeck's desk presented in 1951 at the Copenhagen Cabinet Makers Guild Exhibition, featuring its signature boomerang-shaped edge, now reinterpreted with a contemporary sensibility. Solid oak or walnut slats are cut, glued and shaped by CNC machine, then hand-sanded and coated with a water-based, low-chemical lacquer for a smooth and natural finish. Cast aluminium brackets with a powder-coated finish complete an object of unmatched craftsmanship, designed to last and to be responsibly recycled at end of life thanks to fully separable components. The FSC®-certified wood ensures a responsibly managed forestry supply chain.

The Guild shelf is available in two versions: HM14 (75 x 24.6 x 13 cm, weight 3 kg), ideal for the bedroom and smaller spaces, and HM15 (120 x 27 x 13 cm, weight 4.7 kg), perfectly suited for the living room and larger display surfaces. Both versions support a maximum load of 10 kg and are wall-mounted, adapting elegantly to residential and contract settings alike. The sculptural form and quality of materials make Guild not only a functional element, but a genuine design object that enriches any interior with the warmth of natural wood and the precision of contemporary craftsmanship.
