&Tradition Guild shelf

Guild is a wall-mounted solid wood shelf with a distinctive undulating shape, born from the collaboration between &Tradition and the Hvidt & Mølgaard studio. Its organic silhouette draws inspiration from Axel Albeck's desk presented in 1951 at the Copenhagen Cabinet Makers Guild Exhibition, featuring its signature boomerang-shaped edge, now reinterpreted with a contemporary sensibility. Solid oak or walnut slats are cut, glued and shaped by CNC, then hand-sanded and coated with a water-based lacquer for a smooth, natural finish. Cast aluminium brackets with powder-coated finish complete an object of unmatched craftsmanship, designed to last and to be responsibly recycled at end of life thanks to fully separable components.
