&Tradition Gio LN14 suspension lamp

&Tradition Gio LN14 is a suspension lamp designed by Luca Nichetto for the Danish brand &Tradition, drawing on the intricate craftsmanship of Murano glass to celebrate the timeless beauty of layered glassmaking, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. The name Gio pays homage to the legendary Italian designer Gio Ponti, honoring his ability to fuse tradition and modernity into one cohesive expression. The lamp's conical shades are crafted from spun aluminum discs, powder-coated in three complementary colors: Signal green, deep blue and ecru white, or Vermilion red, dark burgundy and ecru white.

The Gio LN14 is the more compact version of the family, with a diameter of 60 cm and a height of 39 cm: an ideal scale for medium-sized rooms and more intimate settings alike. The lamp functions both as an upward light — emitting a soft, diffused glow from two levels towards the surrounding space — and as a downward light, thanks to a hole at the tip of the larger cone that directs the beam onto the surface below. Whether on or off, its silhouette makes a striking decorative statement, perfectly suited to a living room or kitchen. The integrated 54 W LED source delivers a color temperature of 2600 K and a color rendering index greater than 90, ensuring warm, color-accurate light. The lamp is rated IP20 for indoor use only and comes complete with a canopy and adjustable PVC suspension cable measuring 600 cm in length. The Gio LN15 version is available in a larger format for more spacious environments.
