&Tradition Gio LN14 suspension lamp

Drawing on the intricate craftsmanship of Murano glass, Luca Nichetto's new Gio lamp for &Tradition celebrates the timeless beauty of layered glassmaking, but reinterpreted through a modern lens. The name Gio pays homage to legendary Italian designer Gio Ponti, honoring his artistic practice and celebrating his ability to fuse tradition and modernity into one cohesive expression. The lamp functions both as an ascending light-emitting gentle light from two levels to its surroundings-and as a descending light, thanks to a hole at the tip of the larger cone that is able to direct light to the surface below. Available in two sizes (model Gio LN14 and Gio LN15), it is suitable for a variety of spaces, both large rooms and more intimate settings. Whether on or off, the lamp's silhouette serves as an eye-catching centerpiece, thanks to its carefully considered design that takes advantage of the interplay between light and color.

Gio LN14 is the smallest suspension version of the family, with a diameter of Ø60 cm, suitable for indoor use only. The lamp's conic lampshades are made from spun aluminum discs, then powder-coated in three different colors: Signal green, deep blue and ecru white or Vermilion red, dark burgundy and ecru white. The lamp comes complete with an adjustable PVC ceiling rose and suspension cable. The LED source is included.
