&Tradition Flowerpot VP2 is the iconic suspension lamp designed by Verner Panton in 1969, now firmly established as a timeless classic of Scandinavian design. Its unmistakable silhouette features two opposing semicircular spheres crafted in lacquered metal, producing a diffused light emission both downward and upward to envelop the space in soft, even illumination. With a diameter of 500 mm and a total height of 360 mm, the VP2 is the large-format version of the Flowerpot collection, designed to make a bold statement in any interior.

Born as a visual expression of the hippie era and the visionary spirit of the 1960s, the Flowerpot VP2 stands out today for its wide chromatic range, making it instantly recognisable across any interior setting. It lends itself beautifully to multi-pendant installations at varying heights or as a singular focal point. It is an ideal choice for the living room, above a dining table, or in the bedroom. The fabric cord measures 3000 mm in length and the canopy is included; the lamp is compatible with LED sources up to a maximum of 60W with E27 fitting (bulb not included) and operates across an input voltage range of 100–240 V, making it suitable for all major international electrical standards. Rated IP20, it is designed exclusively for indoor use. In 2026, &Tradition has expanded the palette with the new finishes Ivory, Steel Blue and Zesty Orange, joining the Vermilion Red introduced in 2023 and the reissue of the black-and-white wave pattern inspired by the 1970s, both developed in close collaboration with the Panton family.
