Flowerpot VP1 Anniversary Edition by &Tradition, designed by Verner Panton, is an indoor pendant lamp created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the designer's birth in 2026. This special Pewter edition presents the original 1968 design in its most elemental expression, highlighting the iconic silhouette formed by two hemispherical shades. Made entirely from untreated stainless steel, it features a distinctive surface created through a double stone-tumbling process. Verner Panton's signature is laser engraved inside the upper shade. The lamp measures 23 cm in diameter and 16 cm high and uses an E27 light source, with bulb not included.

Flowerpot VP1 Anniversary Edition retains the lighting principle that defines Panton's original design: the light source is concealed between two shades, with the lower hemisphere exactly half the size of the upper one, allowing a soft, glare-free light to emerge between them. The Pewter finish leaves the stainless steel unpainted and unlacquered, emphasising the material and purity of the form. Constructed entirely without glue to facilitate repair and disassembly, this celebratory edition can become a distinctive feature in the living room or kitchen.
